Are your recipes categorized by difficulty?

Although I am a fan of the long-cut, sometimes you just need what you need when you need it. To help, each recipe is categorized with [a] level of technical difficulty (easy or ambitious); [b] level of complexity (simple or involved); and [c] noteworthy time investment, if applicable (quick for less than 30 minutes, or tenacious for overnight or more).

Are your recipes [insert dietary restriction]?

Not by design. This blog is already vegan, itself an exclusionary diet, and there are so many allergies, intolerances, preferences, and diets out there anymore…we’d never get past “go” if they were! Further, I cook what I’d like to eat—it would be inauthentic of me to do otherwise.  While I have nothing but love and sympathy for you hyperspecific dieters or multiply-sensitive eaters, I can only empower you to put your own spin on my recipes. Even so, there will inevitably be recipes that meet any or all your needs naturally, so I tag all of my recipes for the four plant-based members of the FDA’s list of most common food allergens (no nuts, no peanuts, no wheat, and no soy), as well as four of the current most popular vegan dietary restrictions (grain-free, gluten-free, oil-free, and raw).
